Hemantha Senanayake, MS FRCS Ed FRCOG is the President of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA) and the Founder President of the Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association of Sri Lanka.

He was the Congress Chair of the 13th Asian Congress on Endometriosis (ACE 2025) held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in November 2025, and the 9th Asian Congress on Endometriosis 2021, which was held online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He is an Emeritus Professor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He holds Fellowships in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
